Microbe Inotech Labs celebrates 18 years of business. What else happened in 1991?

The MiL, Inc. was featured in a story by Leisa Zigman of KSDK Newschannel 5,  which aired during the 10:00 PM broadcast on March 17, 2009. Microbe Inotech's Senior Microbiologist Dr. Theresa Joseph, Ph.D., assisted with Newschannel 5's investigation on whether or not granite countertops harbor bacteria and other microbial contaminates.

The MiL is once again sponsoring a shavee for the upcoming St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraising event. This year's shavee is The MiL's Marketing & Sales Manager, Rob Hoffmann.

The Academy of Science of St. Louis invited Dr. Bruce Hemming and the MiL, Inc. to participate in the Carver Careers exhibit at the Missouri History Museum to talk about the recent salmonella outbreak in peanut butter based products as well as careers in the field of microbiology.

The MiL was recently visited by Dr. Martin Debreczeny, Ph.D. and co-founder of BugLab, LLC. Dr. Debreczeny brought with him BugLab's BE2100(R) Biomass Monitor, which is a non-invasive optical monitoring system that is designed to measure biomass growth from a wide variety of glass vessels and stainless steel vessels with viewing ports.
